When I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma as a young adult, I quickly came to realize that cancer at this age has its very own unique set of challenges. It's not only about managing treatment, it is also about navigating school, work, identity, and relationships, all while trying to make sense of a life changing diagnosis.

Young adults with cancer often fall into a niche... too old for pediatric programs but too young for adult support systems. It is an overlooked group, despite facing very specific and complex hurdles.

BridgedAYA was created to close that gap. Our mission is to connect young adults patients with young adult mentors who have already walked this road.​ Whether you are newly diagnosed or in recovery, having someone who understands your experience can be empowering and healing.
